A Message from the "R"
The team of E149, “Let Your Heart Shine”, is polishing their lights in preparation for an awe-inspiring weekend. E149 will be up on the mountain July 30 to Aug 2. Teaming is a joy. The community is remarkable. We are going to let our hearts shine with the pilgrims. We hope to inspire new ways for everyone to shine.
The weekend theme comes from Matt 5:6, “in the same way, let your heart shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Many of us are silent witnesses, seen by others by the way God’s light shines from us. Recently a speaker shared this story…
There was a time in this company when the employees recognized the need for prayer. They turned to him, that “Christian guy,” and asked him to pray. He shared God’s light with all who heard him pray. You never know when God will call you to shine.
We are instructed to go out and spread the good news, be disciples. What better way then to be a beacon for God. Silently or brightly, you have been charged to represent Jesus. Let your heart shine!
Burning bright, Mark Gibson
