A Message from the "R"

Our weekend song: "I Will Follow" by Chris Tomlin

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27

This weekend has been 10 years in the making. Once we are up on the mountain in November, it will have been exactly 10 years since I went on my own Walk To Emmaus. In that time, I have truly lived the words that I spoke at my closing, "It just keeps getting better". And it has. My walk has been all about learning what it really means to be a follower of Jesus, to truly be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only, and to walk humbly with our Lord. God has put together an AWESOME team (doesn't he always?) and we are having a blast getting to know one another as we learn our jobs and follow His leading. We have had to endure many attacks from Satan, the most difficult was the untimely passing of our brother in Christ, Tom Pfemister. Though we are going up on the mountain with 23, we know that Tom's spirit will be with us. I pray that we touch the lives of each and every pilgrim God blesses us with, and that above all else, He be glorified in our efforts.

De Colores,

Mike Finegan
